The Term Memory
The term memory is often misused, people often call the hard drive memory, it is not memory, it is storage. Think of the hard drive as a filing cabinet, and memory as a desktop. The more storage or the bigger the hard drive, the more files you can store. The more memory you have is like having a bigger desktop, you can have more files open, and programs will run faster.
